Our shoes have a wide toe box that lets your toes spread out the way they're meant to. A lot of brands say this, but we actually do it.
This means your feet can be in their natural shape, and your big toe stays straight. This is good for your toes because it helps them stay aligned, strong, and work properly.
The sole of our shoes is really bendy, which means your foot can move freely. This flexibility is great for your big toe, as it helps it move well, which is important when you walk or run. It helps your foot change between being flexible and firm at the right times while you're walking.
Our shoes are designed so your weight is evenly spread across your whole foot when you stand or walk. This helps you walk and move in a more natural way. It's also good for the muscles in your heels and calves because it lets them move fully and get stronger. Our shoes are available in full EU sizes. If you normally wear a half size, we recommend sizing up. The wide toe box accommodates slight size differences better than conventional shoes.
No. All Wyde shoes are designed with a wide, foot-shaped toe box as standard. You do not need to size up for width. Choose your size based on foot length only.
Wyde shoes share the core principles of barefoot footwear — wide toe box, zero drop, no toe spring, and flexible sole — but with more cushioning than ultra-minimalist barefoot shoes. Think of them as the bridge between conventional shoes and pure barefoot: all the natural foot function, with comfort for everyday wear on concrete and pavement.
Zero drop means the heel and toe are at the same height — like standing barefoot. There's no elevated heel pushing your weight forward. This promotes natural posture and movement. If you're used to flat shoes like Converse or Vans, zero drop will feel familiar.
Wyde shoes don't have traditional built-in arch support. They're designed with a zero-drop, flat sole that lets your foot muscles work naturally. If you need arch support, the insoles are removable so you can use your own orthotics.
Yes. All models have removable insoles, so you can replace them with your own orthotics. Most customers find their orthotics fit well thanks to the generous toe box depth. Some customers use orthotics during a transition period and eventually switch back to our standard insole.
Our wide, foot-shaped toe box gives your big toe room to sit in its natural position rather than being compressed. Many customers with hallux valgus choose Wyde specifically for this reason.
You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. Items must be in unused condition — indoor try-on is fine, but visible outdoor wear means we can't accept the return. Exchanges are free for eligible regions (European Union & United States). For refund returns, we deduct a small at-cost return fee from your refund.

They are good looking, and wide for the big toe, but my litle toe did not get enough room, after three days I had blisters on the outside of the toe and a corn on the inside. Too bad, the shoes are great otherwise

Honestly I am just so thankful for Wyde! Finally a brand that produces shoes that fit my extra wide buniony feet! They bring all the benefits of barefoot shoes like no arch support, flexible, zero drop, a wide toe box, without actually being barefoot. The Nova brown Suede have a bit of a thicker sole than your standard barefoot shoes, which was exactly what I was looking for. Since I suffer from a leg lenght discrepancy, I have to adjust all my shoes. For anyone with the same problem, these can be adjusted. They have a really wide toe box, much volume for the foot (almost too much for my feet), are enough cushioned for long walks and on top of all that they look very stylish! Only very small negative would be that sometimes they chave my heels a little bit uncomfortably, but its rarely noticable. Thank you, Wyde!

I love these shoes 🤎so comfortable and room for all my toes. It seems however that I am in between sizes (my foot length 23,6-24cm), this size fits ok but my toes are very close to the end (but do not touch the end). I bought a nova fly in size 39 and they fit better but are a little roomy which I think will be good when I use a thicker sock during autumn/winter. Both are anyhow super comfortable and I have walked many km with them.I will spend the summer using both sizes to decide what size my next pair will be 💗

My feet love these shoes, only grumble is the original lacing which is annoying, easy to fix though. Bare feet shoes takes some getting used to so expect sore feet and calves in the beginning. Difficult to use any other shoes after wearing these for awhile.

Super snygg. Jag upplever dem något små i storlekarna,, jag är normalt en 37 men på wyde kör jag med 39:or. Skon är fantastiskt för foten, foten får en chans att leva. jag har tidigare gått i barfotaskor för att stärka foten men det har inte varit i närheten lika effektivt som med wyde. Hemligheter är nog bredden och att foten får möjlighet att expandera som gör att min fot mår bra. Lymfsystemet har blivit mera aktivt i benen då lymfpumpen nu har återfått sin naturliga funktion. (Högt fotvalv respektive lågt fotvalv i varje steg) Helt klart en sko för att uppnå bättre hälsa! Som dessutom är supersnygg!

It’s been an incredible relief to not struggle with the width of my footwear for once. I’m so used to wearing two sizes up to compensate, so I could have got the size down in these I think. Such a shame I can’t try on all your shoes in a store in the UK. We do have a barefoot show this October, so may venture there, as I now have the bug. I’ve added two inner soles to fill the space and make them less barefoot for an urban environment. These are almost perfect; I feel the unisex fit is a bit sloppy for females around the ankle as women tend to have smaller area here and the back is a bit high and hurts my tendinitis a little. But otherwise totally amazing 🤩 thank you so much.

I like the extra space for toes in the Nova Brown Suede. And I think that they look really cool. However, my knees and hips are having an adjustment problem from all of the cushioned Hokas. I think I need more time to adjust.

Long time barefoot shoe wearer, and I prefer the widest shoes. Wyde are WIDE and the nova look contemporary and cool and gives a good quality feel.

Super comfortable and very sleek design. It takes some time to break in the back of the shoe so that I don't get blisters on my back heels but I insert heel cushions during that time and it reduces the initial friction.

FINALLY! A shoe that is made for my foot. I've got some serious Fred Flintstone feet and my toes are always crushed in other shoes and sneakers (even those they call "wide") My Wyde Nova Brown Suede shoes not only fit my feet perfectly and allow my toes to finally not be crushed into a point, but they look great and are super comfy.

Inget fel på skon i sig såvitt jag kan bedöma, tvärtom kändes de välgjorda och sköna. Men mina fötter som är lite smalare än normalt fick det lite väl rymligt i sidled, även när jag dragit åt snörningen maximalt. Så det fick tyvärr bli en retur!

I have always had wide feet, and over the years, I’ve slowly developed tailor’s bunions on both feet from wearing shoes that are too tight (even “extra wide” shoes), which means my feet are now even wider. They’ve recently become very painful, and actually affect my gait and how my legs work because I can’t put pressure on the outside of my feet anymore, so I really had to find shoes that were wide enough. You CAN find shoes in 7E, but they’re usually made for people with orthotics or significant swelling, which means too much room top-to-bottom, and they certainly won’t be zero drop. Not only am I so happy that these shoes FIT, and keep my feet from hurting, and I love how they look, but I cannot express how helpful it is to publish width on the size chart. There *may* be other wide barefoot style shoes that are wide enough for me, but I don’t like to gamble. Those details are the kind of thing that builds brand loyalty (customer service has been really helpful and responsive as well, thank you!).
Great work Wyde footwear, you did what I thought was impossible unless I wanted to have shoes custom-made.

These shoes look lovely; the colour is perfect in my opinion. However, that's as far as it goes. The soles are flimsy and offer almost no cushion on anything but flat/smooth ground - for example NOT when walking off a street pavement - and certainly not when the temperature heats up and the sole becomes even softer.

Thanks for sharing and glad you like the colour. Nova is intentionally built with a thin, flexible sole to allow natural foot movement and ground feel, which is core to the design philosophy. That said, 'flimsy' isn't what we're going for, and the sole shouldn't soften noticeably in normal heat — please reach out to support@wydefootwear.com so we can take a closer look. If you're after more cushioning underfoot, our Soma model has a thicker outsole that may suit you better.

Jag har Hallux Valgus främst på min vänstra fot och haft ont på tån bredvid stortån och nu när jag testat tåspridarna och skorna NOVA från WideFoot så mår mina tår och fötter riktigt bra.
