Our shoes are available in full EU sizes. If you normally wear a half size, we recommend sizing up. The wide toe box accommodates slight size differences better than conventional shoes.
No. All Wyde shoes are designed with a wide, foot-shaped toe box as standard. You do not need to size up for width. Choose your size based on foot length only.
Wyde shoes share the core principles of barefoot footwear — wide toe box, zero drop, no toe spring, and flexible sole — but with more cushioning than ultra-minimalist barefoot shoes. Think of them as the bridge between conventional shoes and pure barefoot: all the natural foot function, with comfort for everyday wear on concrete and pavement.
Zero drop means the heel and toe are at the same height — like standing barefoot. There's no elevated heel pushing your weight forward. This promotes natural posture and movement. If you're used to flat shoes like Converse or Vans, zero drop will feel familiar.
Wyde shoes don't have traditional built-in arch support. They're designed with a zero-drop, flat sole that lets your foot muscles work naturally. If you need arch support, the insoles are removable so you can use your own orthotics.
Yes. All models have removable insoles, so you can replace them with your own orthotics. Most customers find their orthotics fit well thanks to the generous toe box depth. Some customers use orthotics during a transition period and eventually switch back to our standard insole.
Our wide, foot-shaped toe box gives your big toe room to sit in its natural position rather than being compressed. Many customers with hallux valgus choose Wyde specifically for this reason.
You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. Items must be in unused condition — indoor try-on is fine, but visible outdoor wear means we can't accept the return. Exchanges are free for eligible regions (European Union & United States). For refund returns, we deduct a small at-cost return fee from your refund.

Excellent shoes. They feel like they’re high quality, comparable with big brands like New Balance. The shape of the toe box is also just as wide as the Nova model in spite of the shoe model looking completely different . I love the Somas so much I’m actually thinking of getting another pair in another color way. WYDE truly has changed the game. For reference, I wear a size 10.5 men’s and my toes are 12cm across.

I really like this sneakers. The only reason I’m giving a 4 star rating is because the tongue is kind of large and stiff and I have to use long socks but overall I am very happy wearing them. Love the cushion soles and the wide toe shape.

I know these shoes aren't meant as a fashion statement but I draw the line at shoes that look I raided Shrek's closet. Can't do it...returning.

Well, Shrek does have famously healthy feet. Jokes aside, the generous shape is the whole point: toes need room to spread, and we've chosen function over convention there. It's a look some fall in love with and some don't, and that's completely fine. However, it is important to note that we've heard countless times from customers that after a week or two, they no longer notice the shape. Sorry to see them go.

Snygga, lätta och sköna. Dock sitter den perfekt på vänstra foten men inte den högra där tån går emot pga att skon vrider sig lite inåt. Högerfoten är dock min problemfot som jag har stukat väldigt många gånger samt vars främre trampdyna ofta gör ont och får tårna att domna när jag går långt. Jag har under sommaren bytt gångstil med högerfoten, främst i sandalerna så det ska bli intressant att se om det ger effekt även på hur det känns att gå i mina Soma.

Efter flera års letande, dåligt sittande skor och dyra felköp så känner jag mig faktiskt rätt hemma. Köpte Soma för ett par veckor sedan och för kanske första gången i mitt liv har jag ett par skor som passar mina breda fötter, inte bara vid tårna utan hela vägen. De är sköna att gå i och får mina tidigare "vanliga" skor att kännas klaustrofobiska. Bra jobbat!
Minuspoäng ges dock för innersulan. Jag vet inte vad som hänt här men den är ju för stor för skon! Jag funderade först på om de råkat lägga i en sula från en större storlek men det ska inte vara möjligt med tanke på att jag beställde skor i stl 47, vilket är den största som erbjuds. Sulan veckar sig på flera ställen vid hälen eftersom den inte riktigt får plats i skon. På platserna där den viks över sig själv blir det styva och vassa veck som skaver mot foten. Jag behövde trimma mer sulan med en sax för att den skulle passa i skon den levererades med. Inte acceptabelt för skor man betalar premiumpris för.

While these shoes had good cushion and I liked the style, the inward curve at the forefoot cause my big toe to align with the middle of the shoe and the side of the shoe to push painfully on the lateral side of my foot. If the shoe didn't curve inward and just stayed straight, I would've loved this shoe.

Soma is actually built on one of the widest, most foot-shaped lasts on the market, with the big toe following a nearly straight line rather than curving inward — it has among the longest taper points of any sneaker. Foot shapes vary a lot though, and if the fit created pressure for yours, we're sorry it didn't work out.

First off, they really nailed the aesthetic of the shoes. I do wish there were more color options in my size(11). The one I got is a lighter color that needs to be cleaned up more often. The insoles could be better, these sneakers are significantly better with a good pair of insoles.
Build quality wise, there's this spot that's pinching my little toe on the left shoe. Also the part of the shoe near the eyelets was a little torn up, barely visible.

I was hesitant about getting these; over the years I've bought SO MANY shoes and they are all too small in the width and too long. For my entire life I've worn shoes that simultaneously squeeze my feet and slip up and down on the back of my ankles. The virtual measurement gizmo was quite revealing. Turns out I've got a size 6.5 length, and a size 10 width... plus high volume (I'm sure that means fat feet 🤣)Anyway, I didn't have high hopes because of a lifetime of disappointment. Y'all. These freaking shoes FIT MY FEET!!!!!! It's been miraculous! They fit BOTH WAYS; SIDEWAYS AND LONGWAYS. I know this seems overly effusive for a pair of shoes, but if you've lived your entire adult life with low key pain during the day and laid in bed with your feet THROBBING and YELLING at you and not letting you get any sleep...I mean, the joy of laying down to go to bed and NOT have the ungodly throbbing has just been the most incredible thing. Even though these things cost a whole lot more than I wanted to pay; I'll be paying for these shoes and only these shoes for the rest of my life. All ya'll wide footed folks need to just take the bull by the horns, bite the bullet, squeeze the trigger, put them in your cart, and click CHECKOUT. Man, I've never even written a review before but i had to tell y'all about these, that's how great they are. Get these slightly silly looking shoes and tell everybody who says anything about them to kiss your a@@ because by God your feet feel WONDERFUL!

I finally found a shoe that suits me really well and my feet have the space they need. When they arrived, I put them on directly and after a long day in the shoes nothing pressed. This is really special. You have to get used to the broad appearance a little. But in my opinion they have a harmonious design overall.
