Our shoes have a wide toe box that lets your toes spread out the way they're meant to. A lot of brands say this, but we actually do it.
This means your feet can be in their natural shape, and your big toe stays straight. This is good for your toes because it helps them stay aligned, strong, and work properly.
The sole of our shoes is really bendy, which means your foot can move freely. This flexibility is great for your big toe, as it helps it move well, which is important when you walk or run. It helps your foot change between being flexible and firm at the right times while you're walking.
Our shoes are designed so your weight is evenly spread across your whole foot when you stand or walk. This helps you walk and move in a more natural way. Our shoes are available in full EU sizes. If you normally wear a half size, we recommend sizing up. The wide toe box accommodates slight size differences better than conventional shoes.
No. All Wyde shoes are designed with a wide, foot-shaped toe box as standard. You do not need to size up for width. Choose your size based on foot length only.
Wyde shoes share the core principles of barefoot footwear — wide toe box, zero drop, no toe spring, and flexible sole — but with more cushioning than ultra-minimalist barefoot shoes. Think of them as the bridge between conventional shoes and pure barefoot: all the natural foot function, with comfort for everyday wear on concrete and pavement.
Zero drop means the heel and toe are at the same height — like standing barefoot. There's no elevated heel pushing your weight forward. This promotes natural posture and movement. If you're used to flat shoes like Converse or Vans, zero drop will feel familiar.
Wyde shoes don't have traditional built-in arch support. They're designed with a zero-drop, flat sole that lets your foot muscles work naturally. If you need arch support, the insoles are removable so you can use your own orthotics.
Yes. All models have removable insoles, so you can replace them with your own orthotics. Most customers find their orthotics fit well thanks to the generous toe box depth. Some customers use orthotics during a transition period and eventually switch back to our standard insole.
Our wide, foot-shaped toe box gives your big toe room to sit in its natural position rather than being compressed. Many customers with hallux valgus choose Wyde specifically for this reason.
You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. Items must be in unused condition — indoor try-on is fine, but visible outdoor wear means we can't accept the return. Exchanges are free for eligible regions (European Union & United States). For refund returns, we deduct a small at-cost return fee from your refund.

Breda och skön dämpning. Bredare även över själva foten och inte enbart tårna som för vissa andra märken. Enda negativa är att jag fått lite skoskav nu i början vid hälen där hälskaftet tar slut. Men det ger nog med sig snart.

Due to a problem on my back, I had a foot surgery some months ago and I was advised never to wear my old shoes again. So I threw them all away and I started to try different brands of barefoot shoes, but they were still too narrow and the idea of feeling the ground doesn’t suit me at all. With Wyde shoes I feel like I walk on a cloud, it is another level of comfort and quality!

Mycket nöjd med mitt val! Redan när jag provade dem visste jag direkt att de var keepers. Dagen efter hade jag dem på mig hela dagen utan något skav eller att fötterna blev trötta.
Dessutom är de väldigt snygga. Jag förväntade mig att de skulle se klumpiga ut eftersom de är så pass breda, men det gör de verkligen inte alls.

Purchased it for a gift, ended up keeping it for myself haha.
Already got a black Soma for work and since i couldn´t get it off my feet once i tried it, i purchased a second par as a gift but kept it to wear on casual occasions so the black would last longer.
As with black Soma, i feel this model is probably the shoe model that ticks most boxes that i have ever seen.

Honestly I am just so thankful for Wyde! Finally a brand that produces shoes that fit my extra wide buniony feet! They bring all the benefits of barefoot shoes like no arch support, zero drop, a wide toe box, without actually being barefoot. The Soma have a thicker sole which was exactly what I was looking for. Since I suffer from a leg lenght discrepancy, I have to adjust all my shoes. They have a really wide toe box, much volume for the foot (almost too much for my feet), are cushioned for long walks and on top of all that they look very stylish! Thank you, Wyde! (See how they compare to other shoes, in the picture from left to right: Wyde Soma, Altra Lone Peak 9+, Asics Gel Venture 6. Looking back now, I can't believe I squeezed my feet in such narrow and pointy shoes like Asics for years..!)

I’ve always had very wide feet, a high arch, and a high instep, which has made finding comfortable shoes difficult my entire life. In my late 40s, I also developed hallux valgus along with back, knee, and hip pain. Since I walk a lot at work at the hospital, it became a serious problem.
I bought SOMA because of their foot-shaped design and shock-absorbing sole, and they’ve honestly been life-changing for me. I can move much more freely now without the pain afterwards, both at work and in my free time. I’ve even been able to return to group fitness classes again.
I now own three pairs of SOMA shoes, as well as other models from Wyde, because they’ve made such a positive difference for my body and quality of life!

Wyde Soma och Nova är de enda skorna som i nuläget minskar smärtan i hallux valgus och minskar/tar bort nervsmärtan som jag har mellan tå tre och fyra sedan ett år tillbaka. Rekommenderas varmt!

It's a great shoe in good quality but I think the sole is to thick, tbh I like the Nova you have way better, so this shoe with a Nova sole would probably be a 5 Star summer shoe imo.

Extremt sköna skor! Kräver ingen ingångsperiod utan de känns bra meddetsamma! Snygga dessutom. Enda nackdelen är att de är lite för breda jämfört med andra freefoot-skor jag har, men desto mer utrymme för fötterna så bra antar jag.

Äntligen en sko som inte trycker på sidorna. Har ”normalt” sett stl. 39 pga av breda fötter och beställde stl. 39 även i denna sko. Den var alldeles för stor med mycket utrymme även ovan tårna. Bytte smidigt till stl. 38 och kändes till en början att de var på gränsen. Men nu när jag använt dem några veckor känner jag att det är min perfekta storlek. Hoppas nu jag kan bli hjälpt i resten av kroppen och få en skjuts (pga dessa bra skorna) i att bli kvitt mina krämpor i övriga kroppen också.

After half a year of quite heavy use of these sneakers I can confirm that these are probably the most comfortable shoes for walking on man-made surfaces and all-day use. Holding up really well, some wear on the rubber of outsole, which was to be expected. Lightweight, breathable and personally love the style of these. Grip is good on moist asphalt. Nothing to complain :)

Absolutely love my Wyde Soma! Super comfortable, with plenty of room for my wide forefoot and bunion, while still fitting my narrow heels really well. They look stylish, like New Balance, and without making my feet look wide. I actually find them even better than the Nova, as they’re a little less bulky. Great cushioned soles.

I bought the Soma and Nova at the same time, and after spending some time with both pairs, I can confidently say they each have their own strengths.
As someone with wide feet and a UK size 12, finding shoes that fit properly and remain comfortable throughout the day has always been a challenge. Both models do an excellent job in that regard and are a refreshing alternative to the narrow footwear that dominates the market.
The Nova is undoubtedly the more refined and dressier shoe. The materials feel more premium, and the overall design has a slightly more polished and sophisticated look. For smart-casual occasions, it would be my first choice.
However, when it comes to pure comfort, the Soma takes the edge for me. From the first wear, it felt incredibly natural and accommodating, with a fit that simply disappears on your feet. The flexibility, roominess and overall barefoot feel are outstanding but with great cushioning, making it the pair I reach for most often in everyday life.
While the materials and styling may not feel quite as premium as the Nova, the Soma excels where it matters most to me: all-day comfort. Both are excellent shoes and I'm glad I chose both, but if I could only keep one pair, the Soma would probably win thanks to its exceptional comfort and versatility.
Once again, it's great to see a brand creating footwear that genuinely works for people with wider feet. Keep up the great work and continue expanding the range!

Mycket sköna skor där hela tåboxen får plats. Upplevdes till en början alltför breda över mellanfoten men med rätt snörning har jag kunnat vandra i många timmar utan problem. Kan varmt rekommenderas när lite dämpning behövs.

Perfect shoes for someone who needs a bit of cushion for walking/running on paved surfaces but wants a shoe that moves with the foot and avoids the marshmallow feel of mainstream sneakers. PLEASE ADD MORE FUN COLORS!!
