Founded by brothers Melker and Rasmus Svärd, Wyde started with a simple question:
Why do so many sneakers look great — yet feel limiting to wear?
As lifelong sneaker enthusiasts with a deep interest in human movement and biomechanics, we’d experienced it firsthand:
Shoes that looked the part, but felt restrictive. Narrow shapes. Stiff soles. Designs that didn’t match how feet actually move.
That frustration became the starting point.
We set out to reimagine the sneaker from the ground up — literally.
