Our shoes have a wide toe box that lets your toes spread out the way they're meant to. A lot of brands say this, but we actually do it.
This means your feet can be in their natural shape, and your big toe stays straight. This is good for your toes because it helps them stay aligned, strong, and work properly.
The sole of our shoes is really bendy, which means your foot can move freely. This flexibility is great for your big toe, as it helps it move well, which is important when you walk or run. It helps your foot change between being flexible and firm at the right times while you're walking.

Perfekt för långa sommarvandringar. Mjuk sula som gör att tålederna får jobba. Stadig på foten tack vare hälremmen - till och med tåspridaren hålls på plats. Det ser kanske inte så cool ut, men är skönt för tår som annars vill gå omlott.

These beauties are – so far – just perfect. The back strap means I can walk for long distances and know they're secure on my feet, but I will absolutely be getting a pair of the slides in future too. I need a certain amount of cushioning due to an old foot injury and these strike the perfect balance of squish without sacrificing flexibility. The leather is sturdy and the construction is high quality. I haven't tested the slip resistance of these just yet but so far on indoor surfaces, tarmac and grass they're stable. For reference, I opted for size EU 40 with 25.5cm long feet and I find they're wide enough for my 10.2cm width. This is the size customer service recommended as I mentioned I previously wore EU 40 in Birkenstocks. I can comfortably splay my toes in them too. I think if you have super wide feet, you may need to go up a size and accept a little extra length in front of your toes. Finally, the colour is completely accurate to the photos. En sandal som sitter kvar tack vare hälremmen på min droppfot, som är 1 cm kortare än den andra foten. Med andra ord; mycket för stor för ena foten.

Jättesköna sandaler. Men för mig som har långa smala, tunna fötter skaver remmarna bak mot fotknölarna. Remmarna går lite högt upp. + skulle behöva ha fler hål på remmarna över foten.

De var för små, så jag väntar på att få dem utbytta tillstorlek 40. De var ju gedigna och jag är helt säkeatt de kommervars fantastiska ☺️

Our shoes are available in full EU sizes. If you normally wear a half size, we recommend sizing up. The wide toe box accommodates slight size differences better than conventional shoes.
No. All Wyde shoes are designed with a wide, foot-shaped toe box as standard. You do not need to size up for width. Choose your size based on foot length only.
Wyde shoes share the core principles of barefoot footwear — wide toe box, zero drop, no toe spring, and flexible sole — but with more cushioning than ultra-minimalist barefoot shoes. Think of them as the bridge between conventional shoes and pure barefoot: all the natural foot function, with comfort for everyday wear on concrete and pavement.
Zero drop means the heel and toe are at the same height — like standing barefoot. There's no elevated heel pushing your weight forward. This promotes natural posture and movement. If you're used to flat shoes like Converse or Vans, zero drop will feel familiar.
Wyde shoes don't have traditional built-in arch support. They're designed with a zero-drop, flat sole that lets your foot muscles work naturally. If you need arch support, the insoles are removable so you can use your own orthotics.
Our wide, foot-shaped toe box gives your big toe room to sit in its natural position rather than being compressed. Many customers with hallux valgus choose Wyde specifically for this reason.
You have 30 days from delivery to initiate a return. Items must be in unused condition — indoor try-on is fine, but visible outdoor wear means we can't accept the return. Exchanges are free for eligible regions (European Union & United States). For refund returns, we deduct a small at-cost return fee from your refund.
